who, what, why

I'm Candace. I offer SaaS Support for work, write code for fun, and ride my bike or hike for sanity. I read obsessively, write sporadically, and maintain this site out of stubborn principle.

The internet convinced us we needed to "build a brand" and "show up consistently." I tried that. It was exhausting and nobody cared. Now I build websites the old way: quiet, slow, and optional.

This site has no analytics, no newsletter pop-up, no growth strategy. It exists because I like HTML more than I like most people, and because someone should still make things without asking permission from an algorithm.

A few facts, reluctantly disclosed:

  • Currently located in the Southwest. Mountains, desert, sunshine.
  • Coffee is not optional. Silence is underrated.
  • I prefer bicycles to cars, books to screens. Nature to noise.
  • Hustling is for people with bad priorities.
  • If you need my CV, you're on the wrong site. Try LinkedIn.
